Sour

Hipster Popsicle- Cherry Lime Gose (4.6% ABV)

My very first post is in my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. Aardwolf Brewing Company is practically my second home. This place not only has a gorgeous aesthetic of industrial and natural elements, but also employs some of the nicest people I have ever met. The brewing geniuses at Aardwolf are constantly creating new brews, including a weekly “pilot batch” on Wednesday evenings. I recommend getting there right around 5:00 when they tap the pilot batch as it runs out quickly.

If you are into sours (they are my personal favorite), you are in for a real treat. Aardwolf recently invested in new sour barrels and will soon have even more sour goodness to enjoy.

Early Bird

Early Bird Special – Breakfast Stout (9.3% ABV)

Another one of my favorites is the Early Bird Special. This breakfast stout will definitely wake the taste buds. This is a good thick stout with a nice kick of coffee. This beer is very heavy (9.3% ABV) so I only recommend drinking one of these guys and perhaps moving on to a more calm beer like the Nonchalant IPA. I’ve converted many people into IPA fans with the Nonchalant. It’s a very “friendly” IPA and won’t overpower you with hops.

Aardwolf is still relatively new to the Jacksonville area but has already won many awards for their delicious creations. Their tap list is extensive and will certainly offer something for all types of beer fans. If you have a friend tagging along that’s not into beer, though I will question their life choices, they do offer wine.

My favorite thing about Aardwolf is that they are dog friendly!
